Welcome to the latest issue of Future Power Technology.
In this issue, we deep dive into the world of renewable energy. We begin with wind power, looking at the supply chain fragmentation threatening the global wind turbine market and the setbacks facing offshore wind projects in Australia. We also explore how the hydrocarbon and offshore wind power industries are navigating offshore co-location, as demonstrated by developments in the North Sea.
Turning to solar, we examine the state of gender equality in the industry and why inclusion is key to accelerating the energy transition. We then give an outlook for the global PV module market, highlighting leading technologies and industry players as well as emerging geographic markets.
In hydrogen, we assess how Trump’s tariffs could derail the US green hydrogen boom. We also review low-carbon hydrogen’s potential to drive industrial decarbonisation and gain insights from Panasonic’s energy leaders on how hydrogen is the key to zero-carbon facilities.
