Type NWC is a robust conduit with a galvanized steel core and integral bond wire on sizes 3/8” through 1 ¼” as required by UL 360. It has a thick smooth radiant resistant jacket for use in nuclear containment areas. This abrasion resistant jacket material meets the IEEE 323-1974 and IEEE 383-1974 guidelines and is resistant to heat, oil and chemical breakdown. NWC conduit was NUPIC listed, No. 2651. Manufactured in sizes from 3/8” through 4”, this conduit has an IP66/67 rating and working temperatures from -40C to 89C. For the best flexible liquid-tight protection of power and control cables, NWC is the correct design for the application.
