Hollandse Kust Zuid wind farm

Location: North Sea, offshore Netherlands

Start of operations: 2024

Capacity: 1.5GW

The Hollandse Kust Zuid offshore wind farm project is divided into four parcels, 18km off the coast of the Netherlands. It is the first non-subsidised wind farm project in the country, and recently received its final turbine.

Baltica Offshore Wind Farm

Type: Offshore wind farm

Location: Baltic Sea, offshore Poland

Start of operations: 2027 and 2029 

Capacity: 2.5GW

The Baltica offshore wind farm is planned for development in two phases, Baltica 2 with a capacity of 1.5GW and Baltica 3 with a capacity of 1GW. It will be the largest offshore wind farm in Poland’s Baltic Sea.

Double Black Diamond Solar Project

Location: Illinois, US

Start of operations: “Late 2024”

Capacity: 800MW

The Double Black Diamond Solar project is being developed by Swift Current Energy, an electric utility company based in Boston, US. Construction works for the project commenced in March 2023.
